Stabling
Your horse will have a large airy stable with a deep bed, ad-lib hay, and will be fully attended to 7 days a week - with the yard owner living on-site.
Daily routine
Breakfast and evening feed (hard feed not included in the price), rugs changed, turned out and mucked out, collected from the field, feet picked and washed off, rugs changed, skipped out, and water checked and cleaned as necessary.
Turnout
In the summer there is a possible option to turn out overnight and bring in during the day, or have 24/7 turnout. Worm Counts / Worming will be carried out (additional costs charged to monthly invoice).
Facilities
Use of full-size outdoor school with full set of jumps, indoor school with jumping surface and 15m lunge pen.
Hacking
Fantastic Cotswold hacking, including Cowley village, Cowley woods, and acres of private farmland accessible to Butlers Hill Livery clients.
Owner comforts
Hot water washing facilities and rug driers, WC, and a cosy sociable kitchen area fully stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits!

- Please provide adequate equipment for the time of year - rugs, flyspray, etc.
- Clear up any mess made. Please leave the yard (inside & out) as you found it and empty any wheelbarrows or scoops on the muck trailer - please then spread/fork it up. Hay, hair, sweepings and droppings on the Yard can be emptied into the muck trailer.
- Keep all stable doors and gates closed when not in use.
- Schools and lunge pen MUST be cleared of droppings and poles/jumps after use.
- If last to leave the Yard, please secure and lock the tack room and turn out any lights.
- Any injuries, accidents or damage should be reported to the Yard Manager/Head Girl as soon as possible.
- Please keep us updated with up-to-date contact details - In the event of an emergency, we will contact next of kin and/or obtain veterinary or farrier assistance.
- Well behaved dogs are allowed on the Yard at our discretion.
- There is a Pheasant Shoot on the Farm occasionally. We will give advance notice when the dates are known.
